Our stay at Blue Mountain Beach was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The house exceeded every expectation — beautifully maintained, spacious, spotless, and stocked with everything we could possibly need for a relaxing vacation. You could truly tell the owners put thought into every detail to make guests feel comfortable and at home.One of the best parts was the location. The beach was just a short walk away, making it so easy to enjoy morning walks, sunset views, and long days by the water without any hassle. We also loved how close the property was to all the fun activities, restaurants, shops, and attractions in the surrounding area. Whether we wanted a quiet beach day or a night out exploring, everything was conveniently nearby.The entire experience was exceptional, and this property made our trip unforgettable. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect beach getaway.
Fantastic stay for our family of 4! To say this home is well stocked would be an understatement! We did not have to rent a thing or bring anything other than beach towels. Loved the location - peaceful and quiet but easily bike-able to the beach and lots of amenities
The house was great. Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of space for a large family to spread out. We loved being able to walk to food, coffee, ice cream - even the beach is walkable. We rented a golf cart and used it to get around, we recommend doing this!
The location was nice and quiet. The gym and the pool were close and very well-maintained. The property was very comfortable.
Beautiful home, well maintained, nice privacy fenced in backyard. Pictures exactly as shown. Plenty of games, anything you need for the beach & bikes are provided. Close proximity to great places to eat, either within walking, biking or a very short drive. We thought of renting a golf cart, however, most everything easily done by walking, as parking can be an issue regardless. The pool was cooler than the Ocean, but super clean & nice, along with the fitness center. Communication with host was the best we have ever had with any rental. They gave us a list of suggestions, which was very appreciated. Quiet neighborhood, Highly recommend this hidden treasure!
Home is beautiful and spacious. Kat is super replying and thorough in how to check in.
The house is excellent for enjoying with family—comfortable, well-equipped, and with a very cozy atmosphere. There are just a couple of details to keep in mind. The curtains in both master bedrooms (on the first and second levels) don’t fully cover the windows, and some are missing. Also, for those who enjoy BBQ, the installed grill isn’t the best and could benefit from an upgrade. It would be great to consider improvements in these areas.
We would highly recommend this stay! The property is beautiful and everything was super clean and thoughtful! Beds and pillows were very comfortable, and bathrooms and bedrooms had lots of extra space. Even the “Kids Cave” was roomier than expected! The property is so close and convenient to everything. The property owner was SUPER easy to get in touch with and immediately responded anytime we needed anything. From food recommendations to helpful maps of public beaches, Kat and her crew went above and beyond to help make our stay amazing. We will definitely book here again!

Kat’s place is very comfortable and accommodating, and Kat is a great hostess. She communicates very well and is thorough and helpful. It was very nice being so close to lots of beach options. SRB is a wonderful place to vacation.
The Dutch Treat was the perfect rental for our family beach vacation. Having two master bedrooms with king size beds was great and the house was close to restaurants, the bakery and ice cream shops.
We very much loved our stay at Dutch Treat. Perfect for our needs and the hosts were very accommodating and replied very quickly with any questions we had.
We arrived to find the property exactly as it appeared in photos. There was even a much appreciated welcome “gift,” waiting. This was our 3rd stay in Blue Mountain proper so we were familiar with the neighborhood.
Kat was very attentive and responded to my messages/questions immediately.
The house was clean and well appointed.
I definitely recommend taking the first day familiarizing yourself with
A-what items are available for your use while there (beach things, bikes, etc)
B- various public beach accesses to the east and west as well as Blue Mountain
C- the location of Publix , Walmart etc and
D- local dining and such.
Most of the beach access locations do offer chair/umbrella rentals, the rates and availability vary at each location and each area offers its own unique experience.
We are already looking forward to returning and would definitely stay at Dutch Treat again!
What a happy place to stay! Very comfortable for 3 adults and 2 kiddos! Loved zipping down to the beach in a golf cart (3 min drive) walking to get coffee or a delicious dinner at Mimmos (2 min walk). Loved the local artists work hanging on the walls. Kat was quick at responding and very accommodating with all questions! Loved it!!
The house was amazing and so clean, it was just as pictured. In a great location and close to lots of fun stuff. An easy bike ride to several good restaurants, ice cream, etc. The owner was very easy and quick to communicate with. We took a trip with our children and our friends and their daughter. The bunk room was perfect for our kids and they loved it! Don’t have enough good things to say and we would love to come back!
First, Kat is amazing! We booked a family vacation 6 months in advance and she was wonderful to communicate with as we planned for what we would need to bring for our group of 6 ages 1-60.
The house is located in a perfect spot to get to plenty of public beaches along 30 A.
It is well stocked for beach play and the kitchen has everything you need right down to crock pots and outdoor grill.
The beds are comfortable and there is plenty of storage. There are a few wear and tear issues but overall it is a great place to stay and we will be back.
Property was perfectly adequate for what we needed. Beds were comfortable and linens were soft. Communication with property manager was quick and efficient with very timely responses. We enjoyed the nice backyard in the evenings.
We loved our stay at the Dutch Treat. It was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The only bummer was that the pool closed at 7 PM, but otherwise it was a perfect stay. 10/10!
This home was perfect for our group of 9! Getting to the beach was a one minute drive (if that) and a few of us even walked to and from the beach a few times and it was a pleasant walk! Located on a quiet street and SO close to plenty of food and drink options, within walking distance or a very short drive. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay at Dutch Treat. House was super clean and well decorated, beds were extra cozy, and Kat was so easy to communicate with! We were so sad to leave and will definitely be back!
This lovely house was a fabulous base to explore this beautiful area. With three adults, we especially loved the two master bedrooms and three full baths. We used the comfortable, easy-to-ride adult bikes (4!) to ride daily to the beach and on the wide bike trail along 30A. The (included) private beach club, which has a lovely large pool, was just a few blocks away. There were plenty of items provided for the beach (chairs, umbrellas) with a wide variety of beach toys. The host was extremely responsive before and during our stay. We were even glad to be a half mile from the beach and restaurants on a very quiet street in a nice neighborhood. Would stay here again!

The Ditch Retreat is a beautiful home, very quiet and off the main path for a great relaxing getaway. Dutch Retreat has anything you could possibly need on vacation. The host are very attentive. We will definitely be back!
My adult daughter and I loved each having a big room and bath. The kitchen was well-equipped. It was about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach, which we did at sunrise and sunset. But during the day, we loved using the bikes and the carrier. Kat was very responsive to our requests.
If we had any questions, they were very prompt in responding

Just got back from our family vacation at Dutch Treat and the fabulous 30a area. This is our 3rd trip to 30a but first stay in Blue Mountain and we loved the laid back vibe. This house was a great fit for our group of seven. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies and the beach supply closet has everything you need for a day on the beach which was a nice surprise. Also, the bikes got used a lot bc we didn’t reserve a golf cart this time around but would recommend one though because it makes transporting
people and gear much easier. Communication with Kat is amazing as well! Overall a great stay!
Gorgeous property. Very clean and well maintained. It was perfect for our family and kids. The walk to the beach was a bit far for our toddlers. The bikes and trailers provided were very useful though in exploring the area and getting to and from the beach. Be sure to get to the beach early if you go during the summer to grab a spot close to the water. The water was a gorgeous emerald color and my children loved the sand. The pool was nice and it was very close to the home. We really enjoyed lunch at Red Fish Taco and breakfast at the bakery on our morning bike rides to the beach. I would return to this home. The owner was very responsive to questions I had and a pleasure to do business with.
I stayed here with my family for a week, and we loved every minute of it. As soon as we walked in the house my entire family oo’ed and aw’ed. Having a downstairs and upstairs master suite was perfect for our family. My husband and and the kids stayed upstairs and my mom stayed downstairs for peace and quiet. We did have a tough time finding parking at the beach and it was a bit to far for my 3 year old to walk. If you have small children go to the beach really early. The ice cream shops were a lot of fun for us. They also tend to get busy, especially at night. Over all, we loved this place and the owners were very patient with us. I highly recommend this place
Our family (8 total) had a wonderful time at Dutch Treat. The house is amazing and extremely clean. The decor and layout were perfect. The 4 children (ages 10-15) enjoyed the bunk room while the master suites worked great for the two couples. The beach was beautiful but a little farther away than we expected. The provided bikes, beach cart, etc. made the trips to the beach convenient. Overall, our two families had a wonderful time at Dutch Treat. We would recommend this house and area to anyone looking for a nice place to stay while vacationing at this beautiful beach.
Good location, quick access to beaches and ice cream. House came with bikes but we never used. Also came with wagon, chairs and beach toys. Clean and as described in a quiet neighborhood. The pool is over in a different neighborhood behind a condo but easy walk. Close enough to beaches to walk or ride bikes but recommend driving if you have small children. Great communication with owner. Would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was very clean, cutely decorated, and had everything we needed for the week. We did rent a golf cart to make it easier to get to beach and downtown Santa Rosa.
Our kids LOVED the kids cave. The owners were always prompt with answering any questions. It was nice that the house came with a couple extra beach supplies too! Access to the pool was a nice cool down after being at the beach all day. We would definitely recommend this house and would love to return.

First time to 30A and have to say it was a great experience! Absolutely beautiful beaches only 0.5 miles from property. During summer heat, not walkable! Best to drive to a public beach! Would have preferred private beach but price on this unit was great! Overall 4/5 rating!

Dutch Treat is so cute!😊🚲 It’s immaculate and well-equipped. The beds and linens are very comfortable too- always a huge plus 😴!! The location is nice- very convenient to the beach- only a short walk or quick bike ride. Minutes from Santa Rosa for dining. Walking distance to Blue Mabel Smokehouse for the most delicious brisket ever!! 😋 We loved how quiet this area was! If we wanted to go into Seaside it was only a 5-7min drive or 20min bike ride. Then we gladly left the crowds and returned to our quiet Blue Mtn!!!🙌🏻❤️ Highly recommend this property! 👍🏻

The only downside, which is of no fault to the owners, is there is new construction around the property so it gets noisy early.😐
We stayed for a couple weeks in this lovely home while working in Panama City after Hurricane Michael. The house is beautiful, spacious, and well kept. The owners are extremely personable and kept in contact with us during our stay. They even had groceries here for our crew when we arrived! Highly recommend this home to anyone!

This is our 3rd trip to Blue Mountain Beach and this was by far our favorite location. The beach was so easy to get to but we were also far enough that the kids had space to ride thier bikes with very little traffic. The house itself was a great size for 4 adults and 4 kids. The adults each had masters while the kids enjoyed the the "kids cave". It was decorated beautifully and stocked very well. The owner communicated excellent with all of my questions before and during our stay. We would definitely recommend this home!!

The home was on a quiet corner lot with hardly any traffic and this was during spring break. Our group consisted of 4 adults and 4 kids and we had plenty of space. The beach gear and 2 bikes were a big hit with the adults- if you want to rent more bikes there are plenty of places around the corner that rents bikes. The backyard has plenty of space for hanging out after the beach for the kids. I loved that the house was full of linens this included sofa throws. (Make sure to bring beach towels as the local gift store sells pretty 30A towels but $30 a towel) The owner did inform me to bring beach towels just simply forgot this detail. The beach was breathtaking and only a 2 minute drive or you can even take a long stroll to the beach(we did). The home was better than the pictures. We are so glad we stayed and look forward to returning soon. Thank you for your hospitality and our welcome gift!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dutch Treat in Blue Mountain Beach. The house was extremely comfortable and beautifully decorated (so clean and new!) Everything we could possibly need to make our stay enjoyable was provided, and there was plenty of space for everybody. It is located on a very quiet corner with great outdoor space. The private, fenced yard with grill and deck were perfect for enjoying meals and evenings with friends. The owner was very friendly, easy to work with, and very quick to respond.
